I'm a marketer turned social media coach, manager, educator, and strategist who started Se7en Media so heart-led entrepreneurs never have to figure out their online presence alone.

Get to know me

Before Se7en Media existed, I spent years on marketing teams for professional organizations and local businesses, learning what gets results.

Outside of work, you’ll find me with a book in hand, out on a walk, painting something imperfect, or deep in a reality TV rabbit hole with my fiancé.

Community, connection, authenticity, and alignment are the values that guide me, whether I’m coaching girls’ soccer, teaching in my English classroom, or building strategy for a client. At the core of it all, I just want to create space for people and make sure everyone always has a seat at the table. 

I’ve also spent years volunteering with a non-profit that hosts one of the biggest multicultural sporting events in the prairies, and throughout my teaching career I’ve sat on more than one committee focused on mental health and wellbeing in schools.

If there’s a common thread through all of it, it’s that I’ve always been drawn to spaces where people feel genuinely seen.

-I'm currently wedding planning, so don't be surprised if that sneaks into a conversation

-I don't drink coffee, but I should probably start

-My name is pronounced like the car brand KIA (and yes, Kiah drove a KIA for 10+ years)

-I am a homebody through and through, and it's really hard to get me out of the house sometimes (lol)

My journey

from day one to today

Here's a look at the journey that took me from my very first marketing job to building Se7en Media.

  • First marketing job

    My first marketing job, doing a little of everything: radio, social media, sales, graphic design. I spent the next four years in marketing roles, learning the industry from every angle before ever going out on my own. I worked in different marketing roles for four years after.

  • Bachelor of Education

    Graduated with my Bachelor of Education and built a mental health initiative for students, work rooted in advocacy and representation that still shapes how I show up for people today. 

  • Se7en Media launches

    Launched Se7en Media and started working with clients on social media management, finally putting years of marketing experience into a business built entirely around helping other people tell their story online.

    Launched Small Biz Club, a space built for entrepreneurs to learn, connect, and grow together, because business runs better with community behind it.

  • The Content Collective launches

    Launched the Content Collective and shifted my focus toward education and coaching, the part of this work that lights me up the most.
